My Follower Numbers Are Exploding And I Have No Idea Why

In July, I noticed more and more notifications in my Medium App.

I gained new followers – that‘s what the notfications stated. I am used to this. Every then and now, somebody decides to follow me, here on Medium. But these notifications started to appear more and more.
